Gathering Basket

Yesterday I finished this piece. It's 'Gathering Basket' by Blackbird Designs and stitched with Crescent Colours and Gentle Art threads on 40 count linen. I did change the gold (border and basket) from 'Fools Gold' to Gentle Art 'Heirloom Gold'.

Anyway, I'm back at the hospital with my son this week and that means lots of time to stitch. This piece is by Carousel Charts and called '1776'. I stitched it with DMC on 28 count oatmeal evenweave (the one hobby lobby used to sell on a bolt).
