Scroll frames vs. Q-Snaps

Which is better? I have a collection of Q-snaps, but am considering trying a scroll frame. Any thoughts?
TIA for any suggestions or comments!! And happy stitching :)

For me, it depends on what I'm stitching. For things that are long, I use scroll frames. For things that aren't long, but more square, I'll use Q-Snaps. You should try it! I like these...

You can find them at Michael's (especially good if you've got a coupon). Hope this helps!

I like Q-Snaps for normal, small stitching projects.

I prefer a scroll frame for large projects, and also for lots of specialty stitches and beading (or delicate fibers).

I agree - scroll frames are better for larger projects. My wrist hurts after a while trying to hold a large q-snap. I love the q-snaps though because I can get really good tension with them, I don't like the tension as much on the scroll frame.

Excellent question - I'm just contemplating buying q-snaps as I have several large scroll frames which I do like, but would rather use something other than a hoop for smaller projects. I'll be watching to see if you reach any conclusion.

I really like my fabric to be very taut and I iron it before stitching and like it to stay as smooth as possible during stitching, therefore I prefer scroll frames.
